Abstract

In view of the donor’s wishes, the Government took all possible care for adequate arrangements for the teaching of Urdu and Oriental subjects. The institution serves as the centre for the above mentioned subjects for the last thirty years. The College is a full-fledged Arts and Science college. It teaches upto the degree course and is recognized for post-graduate teaching practically in all the subjects that are taught here but so far as Urdu and oriental studies are concerned it is recognized for the research degree of Ph.D. also.
